Platelet-rich plasma / fibrin is prepared from a sample of the patient’s own blood. Centrifugation separates and concentrates the platelet-containing portion of the blood before it is applied or administered to the selected treatment area.

PRP / PRF skin treatments may be considered for concerns involving skin texture, tone, fine lines or general skin quality. The treatment method may differ depending on the area and the patient’s needs.

Possible temporary effects may include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or discomfort. Other risks can occur and will be discussed before treatment.

Individual outcomes vary.

PRP / PRF may be used as part of a treatment plan for suitable patients experiencing certain forms of hair thinning or hair loss.

The prepared PRP / PRF is administered to selected areas of the scalp. Treatment suitability can depend on the underlying cause and stage of hair loss, the health of the remaining follicles and the patient’s broader medical history.

PRP / PRF is not suitable for every type of hair loss. An assessment may be required to determine whether further medical investigation or another treatment option would be more appropriate.

RF microneedling uses fine needles to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy at selected depths within the skin.

At Plasma Healthcare, Scarlet S RF microneedling may be combined with PRP/PRF where clinically appropriate. The treatment may be considered for concerns involving skin texture, acne scarring, facial pores, fine lines, skin laxity or selected scalp concerns.

Redness, swelling, sensitivity, tenderness and temporary changes to the treatment area may occur. Recovery differs between patients.

PRF bio-filler is a blood-derived material prepared from the patient’s own plasma.

Following centrifugation, selected plasma components undergo a controlled heating and cooling process. This creates a thicker, gel-like material rather than liquid PRP.

PRF bio-filler may be considered for selected areas where additional structural support or improvements in skin quality are sought. It is not identical to conventional dermal filler, and the expected effect, duration and suitability should be discussed during consultation.

Results and longevity vary between patients.

The Facial Glow Peel is a professional resurfacing treatment containing ingredients such as trichloroacetic acid, lactobionic acid, salicylic acid, vitamins and NAD+.

It may be considered for concerns such as dullness, rough texture, uneven tone or selected pigmentation concerns.

Chemical peels can cause redness, peeling, dryness, sensitivity and temporary changes in pigmentation. The appropriate strength and protocol will depend on the patient’s skin, treatment history and individual risk factors.
