What Is PRF Bio-Filler?
PRF bio-filler is prepared from the patient’s own blood using controlled processing, including heating and cooling, to create a thicker, gel-like material.
What Can PRF Bio-Filler Be Used For?
It may be considered for selected areas where additional volume support or improvement in skin quality is sought. Suitability depends on the treatment area, medical history and individual goals.
How Is PRF Bio-Filler Prepared?
The patient’s blood is processed to create platelet-rich fibrin, which is then further prepared into a thicker consistency for treatment.
Who May Not Be Suitable?
PRF bio-filler may not be suitable for patients with active infections, low platelet counts, anaemia, certain blood disorders, active malignancy, chronic liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
What to Expect
Temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness or redness may occur after treatment. Results vary and the amount of volume achieved is not the same as with conventional dermal filler.
